A RENOVATION TO UPDATE THE MODERN
Prior to being renovated, the exterior entry to this steel-beamed A-frame home lacked definition. A new design replaced the steep staircase with fewer steps, making the approach both safer and more inviting. To maintain the original lines of the house, steel was used to provide sleek strength to the porch roof.

Throughout the home, rich wood tones contrast pleasingly with painted and natural stone surfaces. In the dining area (not shown), a new hardwood floor adds warmth, and mirrored vestibule inserts are used to showcase artwork.
